Episode 12

Tristan’s contemplating being a monkey, and while he’s at it he’s scratching his head.  That’s when he accidentally discovers a switch that allows him to talk!  Good news, except that they all heard him insult Duke.  Tea and Yugi realize it’s him, but Duke and Joey think he’s a spy for Noah.  So they tie him up and keep Serenity away.  Poor guy.

Meanwhile, Kaiba’s still getting his butt kicked.  Lecter has lots of ways to use his life points to boost his monsters’ attack strength and then beef back up hi own life points.  As Lecter warns Kaiba about the satellite Yugi and the gang show up.

Back at wherever they are, Noah is trying to convince Mokuba that Seto doesn’t care about him, but he isn’t being very successful.

Lecter has played a card that eliminates all Seto’s magic cards at the cost of 700 life points per turn.  The guys all realize this puts Kaiba in a tough spot.  Then the satellite fires.  The biggest problem though, is that the satellite is practically untouchable.  And it’s gaining 1000 life points each turn, soon it will be all powerful as well.  Then Lecter makes a horrible accusation.  He claims Seto uses Mokuba like he uses everyone else.  Here’s the story:

Kaiba went to the big five and convinced them Gosoboro didn’t appreciate them.  He presents a plan to take over the company and they begin buying stock.  Gosoboro found out though, and Seto told the big 5 it was Mokuba who told.  He even chewed out Mokuba in front of them, which sent the boy to his step father for help.  Gosoboro stops Seto at 49 % and says he’s sending Seto back to the orphanage and firing the big five.  But he made one miscalculation.  See, the two shares that would make all the difference belonged to Mokuba.  Gosoboro assumed that after what Seto did Mokuba would give him the shares.  But Mokuba gave them to his brother anyway giving Seto and the Big 5 51%.  Gosoboro disappeared and was never seen again.

Lecter’s belief is that Seto actually leaked the information and blamed it on Mokuba.  See, Gosoboro enjoyed making people think they were winning and then crushing them in the end, and that’s exactly what Seto did to him.  Seto denies the accusation and the duel continues.

It looks like he’ll lose, though Yugi says he might still have one way to win, until he activates his card’s special ability.  However, he’s still down to 800 life points.  At this point Yugi decides he knows Kaiba’s strategy.  I sure wish he’d clue me in!

Well, at least he got rid of Fairy Lily.  Now Lecter doesn’t have enough points to stop magic cards and his next attack fails.  Kaiba has one more draw before the satellite destroys him, and evidently it was a good one.  Summoning a monster and sacrificing it and the one already on the field, eh uses his deck master’s ability to summon the blue eyes white dragon.  And once again throwing out the fused monster waiting rule, he attacks the satellite taking it down and winning the duel.  Kaiba demands to know where Mokuba is, but Lecter disappears without giving him an answer.

Back at his ‘lair’ Noah is amazed because Mokuba still supports his brother after all of Lecter’s accusation.

And don’t think Seto’s given up on finding Mokuba.  Oh no, he’s coming.

Notes: They’d better not make Seto be using Moky.  They give every indication that Seto truly cares for his little brother, so not only would it take away the one good thing about him, but it would also be terribly inconsistent.
